Nacional adds Collier to their roster, ex Arecibo- February 24, 2021
The most of this season Collier spent at Astros in Mexican LNBP where in 17 BSN games he averaged remarkable 16.9ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1spg. Quite impressive season as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBP 2nd Team and League Player of the Week. Collier also played for Lenadores in Mexican LNBP. In 12 BSN games he had high stats: 16.1ppg, 8.3rpg, 2.8apg and 1.4spg. It was another spectacular season as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBP 2nd Team and League Player of the Week. Collier also represented Puerto Rico at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) two years ago. His team won Silver and his stats at that event were 5 games: 14.6ppg, Reb-5 (6.6rpg), 2.2apg, Steals-3 (1.6spg), FGP: 60.0%, 3PT: 50.0%, FT: 88.9%. Collier is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in four different countries. Collier tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in France (Poitiers), Israel and Mexico (Soles). The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Collier's team made it to the Pac-12 Tournament Semifinals in 2012. He was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Newcomer of the Year back in 2014 at his college time. Collier attended Oregon State until 2014 and it is his seventh season as a professional player.
