Danubio (Metropolitan) landed 27-year old 186cm point guard Alex Lopez. It is actually his comeback to Montevideo as he has played here before. Lopez played last summer at Bigua in the LUB. In 17 games he averaged just 2.4ppg and 1.7rpg. Metropolitan will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He helped them to win the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place.
He has played previously for four other teams: Stockolmo, Trouville, Sayago and Marne.
Among many awards he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Uruguay LUB Honorable Mention between 2018 and 2019.
