The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of 25 de Agosto (1-0) in Montevideo on Wednesday night. Hosts were edged by Lagomar (1-0) 75-74. Lagomar forced 21 25 de Agosto turnovers. The best player for the winners was point guard Martin Perdomo (178-95) who scored 18 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Swingman Agustin Da Costa (191-98) chipped in 21 points and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was Argentinian power forward Franco Pennacchiotti (205-90) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds.
Very important is a road loss of L.Borges (1-1) against Verdirrojo (1-1) on Thursday night. Visiting L.Borges were defeated by Verdirrojo in a tough game in Montevideo 67-73. It was a good game for guard Andres Dotti (180-93) who led his team to a victory with 8 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Nahuel Amichetti contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American center Ricardo Glenn (203-90, college: USC Upstate) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds for L.Borges.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Montevideo. Local Danubio (0-2) lost to Miramar (1-1) 80-72 on Wednesday night. Worth to mention a quality performance of Sebastian Ottonello who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Sebastian Alvarez with 14 points and 4 assists. Danubio's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.

In the last game of round 3 winless Tabare was defeated by Colon in a road game 75-71.
The best stats of 3rd round was 21 points and 11 rebounds by Gonzalo Meira of Tabare.



Danubio - Miramar 72-80

The game with biggest result difference took place in Montevideo. Local Danubio (0-2) lost to Miramar (1-1) 80-72 on Wednesday night. Miramar made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a quality performance of Sebastian Ottonello (195-97) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. American center Malik Wineglass (203-93, college: Harris-Stowe St.) helped adding 19 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Argentinian swingman Sebastian Alvarez (185-89) with 14 points and 4 assists and forward Nicolas Andreoli (197-0) scored 7 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Danubio's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
