Ferreira is back at Remeros

Remeros Mercedes (D4) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old naturalized Brazilian forward Fernando Ferreira (205cm). It is actually his comeback to Mercedes as he has played here before. Ferreira played last summer at Cordon in the Metropolitan. In 13 games he had 5.1ppg and 2.8rpg. D4 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
He was a member of Uruguayan U16 National Team in 2003.
Ferreira has spent his entire career in Uruguay playing for eight other teams: Union Atletica Montevideo, Nacional, Larranaga, Juventus, Marne, Olivol Mundial Montevideo, Salto Uruguay and Pacaembu.
