Argentinian Valentin Duvanced, agency: BIG) put on an amazing game in the last round for San Telmo RS and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Metropolitan Player of the Week award for round 7.
The had a double-double of 31 points and seventeen rebounds, while his team beat U.Atletica (#2, 6-2) 100-95. San Telmo RS is placed at 10th position in Uruguayan Metropolitan. The season is still in it's early stage, so the team may have a chance to improve their current position in the standings. They lost 6 games and had just two victories. In the team's last game Duvanced had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at San Telmo RS, through which he has constantly improved. Duvanced has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 20.0ppg), rebounds (4th best: 12.3rpg) and averages solid 1.5bpg and 58.8% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another San Telmo RS's star - young Argentinian shooting guard Federico Harina (186-SG-1991). Harina is one of the most experienced players at San Telmo RS and similarly like Valentin Duvanced has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.0ppg (#9). His other stats are also decent: 4.8rpg and 4.2apg.
The third best performed player last round was American Casey Jones (195-PG-1993) of Colon (#4). Jones got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds and five assists. He was a key player of Colon, leading his team to a 89-64 easy win against the lower-ranked Miramar (#9, 2-5). Colon needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 2 lost games. Jones has a great season in Uruguay. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.6ppg (2nd best). He also has 2.3spg, 1.9bpg and and 3PT: 41.4%.
