Forward Ignacio Xavier (196-F, agency: Pro Sports) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Cordon and receives a Hoops Agents Metropolitan Player of the Week award for round 11.
He had the game-high 27 points adding six rebounds for Cordon in his team's victory, helping them to outclass U.Atletica (#7, 7-4) with 28-point margin 100-72. It allowed Cordon to take over top position in the Uruguayan Metropolitan. Cordon have a solid 9-2 record. In the team's last game Xavier had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Cordon's top player in his first season with the team. Xavier has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 19.1ppg) and averages solid 57.8% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Lenny Daniel (203-C-1987) of Stockolmo. He is American center in his first season at Stockolmo. In the last game Daniel recorded impressive double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Stockolmo lost that game 74-84 to the higher-ranked O.Mundial (#9, 5-6). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Stockolmo dropped in the standings to second-to-the-bottom (13th) position. 9 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Stockolmo managed to get this year. Daniel is a newcomer at Stockolmo and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.3ppg (#9). He also registered 9.1 boards per game.
Third place about best performers goes to forward Matias Nicoletti (193-F-1994) of San Telmo RS (#10). Nicoletti showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, fifteen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of San Telmo RS, leading his team to a 90-84 win against the lower-ranked Verdirrojo (#14, 2-9). San Telmo RS can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 3-8 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Nicoletti has a very solid season. In 11 games in Uruguay he scored 13.0ppg. He also has 5.7rpg and 3.6apg.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
