Harrison's double-double lands him Metropolitan (Second Stage) Player of the Week award

33-year old power forward Paul Harrison (203-F/C-1989) had an amazing evening in the last round for Sayago (they play in Places 8-14) and receives a Hoops Agents Metropolitan Player of the Week award for round 1 (Second Stage).
He had a double-double of 26 points and 15 rebounds, while his team lost the game against the league's best team Stockolmo (#10, 1-0) 82-98. Sayago moved-up to the 7th position in Uruguayan Metropolitan. Harrison turned to be Sayago's top player in his first season with the team.

Second best performed player last round was Federico Harina (186-SG-1991) of San Telmo RS. He is Argentinian guard in his first season at San Telmo RS. In the last game Harina recorded impressive 26 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as San Telmo RS lost that game 74-80 to Miramar (1-0). The Second Stage is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Harina is a newcomer at San Telmo RS and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Facundo Terra (185-G-1998) of Stockolmo (#10). Terra scored 26 points and passed seven assists. He was a key player of Stockolmo, leading his team to a 98-82 easy win against Sayago (#14, 0-1). Stockolmo has a very good start of the Second Stage. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Terra also has a very good start of the Second Stage with very strong stats. Terra has a great season in Uruguay. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.5ppg (4th best) and assists with 4.8apg (3rd best).
