Raphiael Putney

Atletico-Aguada-Montevideo (LUB) inked 32-year old American 207cm forward Raphiael Putney (college: UMass). Putney started the season at Taichung Suns in Taiwanese T1 League. In three games he recorded 7.3ppg, 9.0rpg, 2.7apg, 1.7spg and 1.3bpg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2017.
Putney is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to thirteen different countries on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). Putney has played previously professionally in Australia, Colombia (Team Cali), France (Chalon/Saor), Hungary (Atomeromu), Israel (Next Urban Maccabi Haifa), Italy (BLE Juvecaserta Accademy and Scafati), Puerto Rico (Atleticos), South Africa (Tigers), Venezuela (Guaiqueries), NBA (Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs), NBA G League (Sioux Falls Skyforce, RGV Vipers, Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Iowa Wolves and College Park SkyHawks), Dominican Republic (San Lazaro and Reales) and The Basketball Tournament (Heartfire). His team made it to the Atlantic 10 Tournament Semifinals in 2012 and 2013.
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli National League Honorable Mention in 2022.
He graduated from University of Massachusetts in 2014 and it is his ninth season in pro basketball.
