Liga Femenina - Defensor Sporting inks Joaquina Gregorio

Defensor Sporting Club Montevideo (Liga Femenina) agreed terms with 21-year old guard Joaquina Gregorio (168cm-2001) for new 2023 season. Gregorio played last summer at Atletico Aguada in Uruguayan Liga Femenina. She managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In 28 Liga Femenina games she had 7.2ppg, 5.1rpg, 3.5apg and 1.3spg. Gregorio helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. She also played 3 games in Liga Sudamericana where she recorded just 2.3ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.0apg. The other team she played that season for was Montmartre in Argentinian LaLiga Femenina. In 11 games she averaged 6.0ppg, 3.4rpg and 2.2apg.
Gregorio has played previously for Hebraica.
