Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

First defeat of league's leader D.Sporting (7-1) against third ranked Malvin (7-1) 62-50 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of D.Sporting. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Malvin forced 21 D.Sporting turnovers. It was a good game for Argentinian Maria Jourdheuil (180-1994) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Carolina Fernandez (186-2003) contributed with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Argentinian center Ornela Bacchini (188-1989, college: OLLU) replied with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks for D.Sporting. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Malvin have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 25 de Agosto and D.Sporting. D.Sporting will play next round against strong 25 de Agosto trying to make it back to the top of the standings. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo - 25 de Agosto. Malvin will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Aguada on the road.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: 25 de Agosto (#2) and Lagomar (#7). 25 de Agosto (7-1) won against visiting Lagomar (1-6) 74-70. Sabrina Molina (179-1998) scored 2 points and 16 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Rocio Bereilh chipped in 14 points during the contest. 25 de Agosto's coach Juan Loureiro used entire bench in such tough game. The best for the losing side was point guard Camila Panetta (162-2001) with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. 25 de Agosto keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Malvin and D.Sporting. Lagomar lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with six games lost. 25 de Agosto's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena D.Sporting.
Bottom-ranked Urunday is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their eighth consecutive match to fifth ranked Hebraica (6-2) 89-38 on Sunday evening. Martina Marino notched 18 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 3 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists by Gabriela Piriz did not help to save the game for Urunday. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hebraica have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 6-2 record. Urunday at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost. Hebraica will meet at home Remeros (#8) in the next round. Urunday will play against Juventud in Las Piedras and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last two games of round 6 Aguada smashed Remeros on the road 84-25. Yale destroyed Juventud on its own court 80-56.
The most impressive performance of 6th round was 19 points and 4 assists by Julieta Sienra of Yale.
