Kirschenbaum's 27 points and 7 rebounds give her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

20-year old guard Camila Kirschenbaum (170-G-2002) had an amazing evening in the last round for Aguada and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
She had the game-high 27 points adding seven rebounds and four assists for Aguada in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Remeros (#8, 1-7) with 59-point margin 84-25. Aguada maintains the 4th position in Uruguayan Liga Femenina. They are still close to the very top. Aguada would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 6-1 record. In the team's last game Kirschenbaum had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 8 attempts. She just recently signed at Aguada, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Binghamton University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Kirschenbaum is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.0ppg. Kirschenbaum is in league's top in and averages solid 57.7% FGP and 57.1% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Melina Marcial (168-G-1998) of Lagomar. She is Argentinian guard in her first season at Lagomar. In the last game Marcial recorded impressive 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Lagomar was edged by the higher-ranked 25 de Agosto (#2, 7-1) 74-70. Lagomar managed to keep the same 7th spot in the standings. 6 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Lagomar managed to get this year. Marcial is one of the most experienced players at Lagomar and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 13.0ppg (#9). Her other stats are also decent: 5.2rpg and 4.2apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Martina Marino (170-F-2005) of Hebraica (#5). Marino scored 18 points and grabbed five rebounds. She was a key player of Hebraica, leading her team to a 89-38 easy win against Urunday (#10, 0-8). Hebraica needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams.
