Brown number one in Uruguayan Metropolitan for round 14- July 24, 2023
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Sayago (#6, 6-5) 66-52. 25 de Agosto maintains the 13th position in Uruguayan Metropolitan. 25 de Agosto is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-7 record. In the team's last game Brown had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at 25 de Agosto, through which he has constantly improved. Former Ouachita Baptist University star has very solid stats this year. Brown is in league's top in points (5th best: 19.5ppg) and averages impressive 55.6% FGP. The second best player in last round's games was young Andres Aristimuno (184-PG-1992) of Colon. Aristimuno had a very good evening with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Bad luck as Colon lost that game 82-93 to the higher-ranked Atenas (#8, 6-5). This loss caused Colon to drop to 12th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-6 record. Aristimuno is one of the most experienced players at Colon and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Third on the list of top players last round was forward Federico Haller (200-F-1988) of Lagomar (#16). Haller scored 26 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). Despite Haller's great performance Lagomar lost 75-97 to the higher-ranked O.Mundial (#10, 5-6). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Lagomar can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 2-9 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Haller has individually a great season in Uruguay. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.2rpg (3rd best). Other top performing players last week: 4. Trevor Gaskins (188-PG-1989) of O.Mundial - 30 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists 5. Tayavek Gallizzi (206-F/C-1993) of Atenas - 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists 6. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
