Brown number one in Uruguayan Metropolitan for round 2

American Shooting guard Rakim Brown (198-SG-1991) put on an amazing game in the last round for Sayago, receiving a Hoops Agents Metropolitan Player of the Week award for round 2 (Second Stage).
The 32-year old player had a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Atenas (#8, 8-10) with 17-point margin 97-80. Thanks to this victory Sayago moved-up to the 7th position in Uruguayan Metropolitan. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. Sayago will need more victories to improve their 10-8 record. In the team's last game Brown had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Sayago's top player in his first season with the team. Former Humboldt State University star has very solid stats this year. Brown is league's best scorer averaging so far 18.1ppg. Brown is in league's top in and averages impressive 2.2spg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Tirrell Brown (198-PF-1993) of 25 de Agosto. Brown had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds. Of course he led 25 de Agosto to another comfortable win outscoring Verdirrojo (5-13) 92-60. The Second Stage is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Brown is a newcomer at 25 de Agosto, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.6ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 8.1rpg and 3.2apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Sayago's star - American forward King Revolution (206-F-1990, agency: BIG). Revolution scored 29 points and grabbed five rebounds. He was another key player of Sayago, helping his team with a 97-80 easy win against Atenas (#8, 8-10). Sayago needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 8 lost games. Revolution has a very solid season. In 3 games in Uruguay he scored 23.3ppg.
