The most exciting game of round 6 in the Metropolitan took place in Montevideo. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 11th ranked Stockolmo (10-11) to thirteenth ranked Verdirrojo (7-14) 84-82 on Friday evening. Strangely Stockolmo outrebounded Verdirrojo 51-39 including 18 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American guard Robert Whitfield (190-1997, college: UMKC) who had a triple-double by scoring 28 points, 17 rebounds and 12 assists. Power forward Alfonso Arrillaga (195-1996) chipped in 27 points. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Facundo Terra (185-1998) who recorded 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Stockolmo's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Verdirrojo maintains thirteenth position with 7-14 record, which they share with O.Mundial.
