Kirschenbaum is back at Ponzano, ex Aguada

Schiavon Ponzano Basket Veneto (Serie A2) agreed terms with 21-year old Uruguayan guard Camila Kirschenbaum (170cm-2002, college: Binghamton). It is actually her comeback to Veneto as she has played here before. She played last season at Atletico Aguada in Uruguayan Liga Femenina. In 26 games just recently she had very impressive stats: 20.0ppg, 5.0rpg, 3.1apg and 1.5spg. She was also named League Player of the Week. She also played 5 games in Liga Sudamericana where just recently she recorded only 2.4ppg and 2.0rpg.
She represented Uruguay at the FIBA South American Women's Championship in San Luis (Argentina) last year. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 6.2ppg, 2.6rpg, 1.2apg, FGP: 32.3%, 3PT: 21.4%, FT: 66.7%. She played in the final of Liga Sudamericana in 2023.
She attended Binghamton University until 2022 and it will be her second season as a professional player.
