Liga Ascenso 2024 - Tabare lands Tirrell Brown, ex Kinwa

Tirrell Brown

Atletico Tabare (Metropolitan) landed 30-year old American 198cm power forward Tirrell Brown (college: OBU). Brown moved there from Kinwa in Bolivian Libobasquet where he started the season. In 7 games just recently he averaged impressive 21.9ppg, 6.0rpg and 2.0apg. The last season he played at Club Deportivo Valdivia in Chilean LNB. In 8 Libobasquet games he had very remarkable stats: 20.0ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.8apg, 1.4spg and 1.1bpg.
He is a very experienced player. Brown has played also professionally in Argentina (Quilmes Mar del Plata, Asociacion Mitre Tucuman, Ameghino, Club Atletico Villa San Martin and Gimnasia y Esgrima y Pedernera Unidos San Luis), Colombia (Toros), Uruguay (Colon and 25 de Agosto), Chile (Ancud), Bolivia (Amistad) and Ecuador (Barcelona).
Among many awards his team was regular season runner-up in Argentinian La Liga Argentina Conferencia Noreste in 2020. He was also voted to Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Argentina Center of the Year back in 2021.
Brown graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 2016 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball. He played also for Central Arkansas University for 2 years.
