The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of D.Sporting (4-1) in Montevideo on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by Malvin (7-0) 61-51. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of D.Sporting. Malvin made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Argentinian forward Carla Miculka (174-1993) had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Ailen Sosa (163-2000) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Malvin (#1) and 25 de Agosto (#5). 25 de Agosto was smashed at home by 40 points 48-88 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Malvin's coach Juan Serdio felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 12 points and 7 rebounds by Argentinian guard Rocio Bereilh (165-2001) did not help to save the game for 25 de Agosto. Undefeated Malvin (7-0) have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 7 victories in a row. 25 de Agosto at the other side dropped to the sixth place with three games lost. They share the position with Remeros and Lagomar.
Bottom-ranked Hebraica (0-6) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to eighth ranked Lagomar (2-3) 74-50 on Friday evening. The best player for the winners was Carina Laborde who scored 23 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was Sofia Fernandez who recorded 17 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lagomar moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 25 de Agosto and Remeros. Loser Hebraica still closes the standings with six games lost.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 6: Aguada destroyed Juventud on the opponent's court 84-52. Remeros unfortunately lost to Yale in a home game 59-72. Tabare recorded a loss to Urunday on the road 50-57.
