Laborde number one in Uruguay Liga Femenina for round 6

Forward Carina Laborde (170-F-2004) had an amazing evening in the last round for Lagomar Canelones Montevideo, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 19-year old player was the main contributor (23 points, five rebounds and nine assists) to her team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team Hebraica (#11, 0-6) with 24-point margin 74-50. Lagomar maintains the 8th position in Uruguayan Liga Femenina. Lagomar is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-3 record. In the team's last game Laborde had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. She turned to be Lagomar's top player in her first season with the team. Carina Laborde has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (8th best: 13.4ppg) and averages impressive 4.4spg and 51.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Catalina Tano (174-PG-2003) of Atletico Tabare. Tano had a very good evening with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Third on the list of top players last round was Argentinian forward Carla Miculka (174-F-1993) of league's top team Malvin Montevideo. Miculka scored 11 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Malvin, leading her team to a 61-51 win against #2 ranked D.Sporting in a game of the week. Malvin have amazing season winning all 7 games without a single defeat. Miculka turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Miculka has a great season in Uruguay. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 13.3ppg (9th best) and rebounds with 10.7rpg (3rd best).
