Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most interesting game of round 6 was only three-point a home defeat of 6th ranked Bohemios (3-3) to fifth ranked Colon (4-2) 84-81. It ended the two-game winning streak of Bohemios. 28 personal fouls committed by Bohemios helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Gianfranco Espindola (196-1999) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Manuel Oyenard (194-2000) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Argentinian forward Tomas Verbauwede (198-1999) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Bohemios' coach Mauricio Rodriguez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Colon have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with U.Atletica. Bohemios at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Stockolmo.
L.Borges has finally registered their first victory this season after five consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Larranaga (2-4) 92-87. Brazilian center Sergio Conceicao (209-2000) notched a double-double by scoring 28 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Federico Ambrosoni supported him with 27 points and 5 assists. Even 20 points and 5 assists by Argentinian Mateo Bolivar (187-1992) did not help to save the game for Larranaga. L.Borges (1-5) left bottom position moving up to fourteenth place, which they share with Sayago. It was Larranaga's fourth loss in a row. They keep the eleventh position with four games lost. They share it with Tabare.

The best player for the winners was Facundo Terra who scored 22 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Martin Tessadri who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Stockolmo moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Bohemios. Loser Sayago dropped to the bottom position with five games lost. They share it with L.Borges.

In the last game of round 6 Tabare was destroyed by U.Atletica on the opponent's court 86-66.




L.Borges - Larranaga 92-87

L.Borges has finally registered their first victory this season after five consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Larranaga (2-4) 92-87. L.Borges made 27-of-35 charity shots (77.1 percent) during the game. L.Borges outrebounded Larranaga 36-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. Larranaga was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Brazilian center Sergio Conceicao (209-2000) notched a double-double by scoring 28 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and point guard Federico Ambrosoni (183-1999) supported him with 27 points and 5 assists. Stockolmo - Sayago 105-66

Twelfth ranked Stockolmo (3-3) crushed at home 14th ranked Sayago (1-5) by 39 points 105-66, which is the biggest margin this round on Thursday night. Stockolmo dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Sayago's 22. Stockolmo shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Facundo Terra (187-1998, agency: Pro Sports) who scored 22 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Argentinian forward Lucio Castellani (196-1994) chipped in 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Stockolmo players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center Martin Tessadri (200-2001) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and American swingman Anthony Hilliard (195-1986, college: ECSU) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively. Very expected game in Montevideo where 12th ranked Tabare (2-4) was crushed by seventh ranked U.Atletica (4-2) 86-66 on Thursday. U.Atletica made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. U.Atletica had a 32-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Tabare's players. The best player for the winners was point guard Santiago Wohlwend (172-1997) who scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. American-Nigerian Okanu Kingsley (202, college: GVSU, agency: Helping Ballers) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field).
