It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Montevideo. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Andres Dotti (180-1993) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 assists. Mateo Bianchi contributed with 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American center Tyler Harris (208-1993, college: Auburn) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for Goes. Capitol moved-up to seventh place. Goes at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They share it with Olimpia. A very close game took place in Montevideo between U.Atletica and O.Mundial. Seventh ranked U.Atletica (4-2) got a very close victory on the road over 13th ranked O.Mundial (1-4). U.Atletica managed to escape with a 2-point win 68-66 on Tuesday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It was a great evening for Okanu Kingsley who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. At the losing side Facundo Medina responded with 19 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. U.Atletica moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Colon. Loser O.Mundial dropped to the fourteenth position with four games lost. U.Atletica will meet at home Colon (#4) in the next round. Other games of round 7 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Stockolmo defeated Larranaga in Montevideo 82-73. Tabare smashed Verdirrojo at home 82-62. Lagomar lost to Colon on the opponent's court 81-96. Sayago unfortunately lost to Bohemios in a home game 74-81.

There was no surprise in Montevideo where 11th ranked Larranaga (2-5) was defeated by eighth ranked Stockolmo (4-3) 82-73 on Monday. Stockolmo outrebounded Larranaga 43-27 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for guard Facundo Terra (187-1998, agency: Pro Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Argentinian forward Lucio Castellani (196-1994) helped adding 23 points and 10 rebounds. Stockolmo's coach Pablo Lopez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side forward Nicolas Martinez (206-2003) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Argentinian Mateo Bolivar (187-1992) scored 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Larranaga players scored in double figures. Stockolmo moved-up to sixth place. Larranaga lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with five games lost. Tabare looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Verdirrojo's players. It was a great evening for American Tirrell Brown (198-1993, college: OBU) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Geronimo Viera (172-2004) helped adding 11 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Tabare players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Randy Rickards (201-2000, college: WILMU) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import guard Taalib Holloman (193, college: WILMU) scored 20 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tabare moved-up to ninth place. Loser Verdirrojo dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. They share it with Lagomar. Tabare will meet higher ranked Olimpia (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Very expected game when 12th ranked Lagomar (2-3) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Colon (4-2) 96-81 on Tuesday. Colon made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game, while Lagomar only scored seven points from the stripe. Colon looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for forward Gianfranco Espindola (196-1999) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Guillermo Curbelo (187-2001) helped adding 25 points. At the losing side forward Federico Haller (200-1988) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and forward Santiago Moglia (196-1989) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Five Colon and four Lagomar players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Colon have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with U.Atletica. Lagomar lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. They share it with Verdirrojo. Colon will meet U.Atletica (#5) in the next round. Lagomar will play against Sayago (#15) and hope to secure a win.
