A very close game took place in Montevideo between U.Atletica and O.Mundial. Seventh ranked U.Atletica (4-2) got a very close victory on the road over 13th ranked O.Mundial (1-4). U.Atletica managed to escape with a 2-point win 68-66 on Tuesday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It was a great evening for Okanu Kingsley who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. It was a great evening for American Tirrell Brown (198-1993, college: OBU) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Geronimo Viera (172-2004) helped adding 11 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Tabare players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Randy Rickards (201-2000, college: WILMU) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import guard Taalib Holloman (193, college: WILMU) scored 20 points.
