Bazan's 26 points and 6 rebounds give her Player of the Week award

21-year old Argentinian Agustina Bazan (174-SF-2003) had a great game in the last round for Yale Montevideo and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4 (Second Stage).
She had the game-high 26 points adding six rebounds and five assists for Yale in her team's victory, helping them to edge out Malvin (3-1) 86-85. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Yale maintains the 3rd position in Uruguayan Liga Femenina. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this stage. Yale will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Bazan had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Yale, through which she has constantly improved. Bazan has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (3rd best: 16.6ppg), assists (2nd best: 5.3apg) and averages solid 6.3spg and 60.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Martina Ferreira (176-F/G-2006) of top-ranked Atletico Aguada. She is a swingman in her first season at Aguada. Third place about best performers goes to another Yale's star - guard Julieta Sienra (161-PG-2003). Sienra scored 27 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. She was another key player of Yale Montevideo, helping her team with a 86-85 win against #2 ranked Malvin in a game of the week. Yale needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Sienra has a great season in Uruguay. After 14 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.4ppg (6th best).
