Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: Yale (#3) and Urunday (#5). Yale (5-1) smashed visiting Urunday (0-5) by 29 points 94-65. Yale forced 33 Urunday turnovers and outrebounded them 47-34 including 17 on the offensive glass. Yale looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Urunday's players. The best player for the winners was Argentinian Agustina Bazan (174-2003) who scored 28 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Argentinian point guard Julieta Sienra (161-2003) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds, 11 assists and 5 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was Argentinian point guard Abril Ramirez (167-2000) who recorded 17 points, 6 assists and 6 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Yale have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Malvin and Aguada. Urunday at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Hebraica and Remeros. Yale is looking forward to face Aguada (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Urunday's supporters also look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Malvin.

It was a good game for guard Joaquina Gregorio (168-2001) who led her team to a victory with 17 points and 5 assists. Sofia Acevedo contributed with 20 points for the winners. Brazilian power forward Karina Jacob (187-1985) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds for D.Sporting. D.Sporting's coach Fabian Boscardin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Aguada keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Malvin and Yale. D.Sporting at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Aguada will play against league's second-placed Yale in Montevideo in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. D.Sporting will play on the road against Remeros in Mercedes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Defending champion (5-1) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Aguada and Yale. Loser Remeros still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Hebraica and Urunday. Malvin's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Urunday.

In the last two games of round 6 Tabare lost to undefeated Juventud in Las Piedras 71-79. 25 de Agosto smashed Hebraica at home 100-24.

Juventud forced 32 Tabare turnovers and outrebounded them 45-34 including 19 on the offensive glass. Center Florencia Spinelli (186-1994) had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Paraguayan guard Constanza Lopez (-2006) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Matilde Talamas (-2006) with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Catalina Tano (174-2003) scored 18 points and 6 assists. Tabare's coach Santiago Rodriguez tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Juventud have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 5-0 record. Newly promoted Tabare keeps the tenth place with four games lost. Juventud will meet bottom-ranked Hebraica (#11) in the next round. Tabare will play against Lagomar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
