Maria Jourdheuil gets MVP of the Week award for Uruguayan Liga Femenina (Second Stage)

Argentinian Maria Jourdheuil (180-PF-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Malvin Montevideo and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6 (Second Stage).
The 30-year old power forward had a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds, while her team outclassed, Second Stage bottom-ranked team Remeros (#5, 0-5) with 31-point margin 79-48. It allowed Malvin to jump to the first place in the Uruguayan Liga Femenina. Malvin have a solid 5-1 record. In the team's last game Jourdheuil had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. She turned to be Malvin's top player in her first season with the team. Maria Jourdheuil averages this season 16.8ppg and 9.8rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young center Florencia Spinelli (186-C-1994) of Juventud Las Piedras. She was a key player of 25 de Agosto, leading her team to a 100-24 easy win against Hebraica (#11, 0-5). 25 de Agosto needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams.
