Miculka's double-double lands her (Second Stage) Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

31-year old Argentinian forward Carla Miculka (174-F-1993) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team Malvin Montevideo and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10 (Second Stage).
She had a double-double of 20 points and 15 rebounds, while her team beat Yale (#2, 7-2) 69-56. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Malvin to consolidate first place in the Uruguayan Liga Femenina. Malvin have a solid 8-1 record. Miculka turned to be Malvin's top player in her first season with the team. Miculka has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (8th best: 13.7ppg), rebounds (4th best: 9.6rpg) and averages solid 1.3bpg and 59.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Ornela Bacchini (188-C-1989, agency: BIG) of Remeros Mercedes. She is Argentinian center in her first season at Remeros. In the last game Bacchini recorded an impressive 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course she led Remeros to another comfortable win 68-54 over Urunday (#6, 0-10) being unquestionably team leader. Remeros' 5th position in the standings has not changed. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Remeros managed to get this Second Stage. Bacchini is a newcomer at Remeros and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Sabrina Molina (180-PF-1998) of Places 7-11 leader Juventud Las Piedras. Molina scored 13 points and grabbed 18 rebounds (!!!). Despite Molina's great performance the Juventud lost 48-77 to the lower-ranked Lagomar (#8, 6-2). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Juventud had another "accident". It may be a crucial game and cause dropping from the group of top ranked teams. The record is still good, but 1st lost game is hopefully really an accident. Molina's teammates are also very good. That's why having such high stats is even more impressive. Molina has a very solid season. In 9 games in Uruguay she scored 15.7ppg. She also has 14.3rpg, 5.4apg, 5.0spg and 2.2bpg.
