Yale forced 20 Aguada turnovers. Strangely Aguada outrebounded Yale 44-31 including 17 on the offensive glass. Aguada was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Argentinian point guard Julieta Sienra (161-2003) notched 29 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and Argentinian Agustina Bazan (174-2003) supported her with 17 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals. Even a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) by Brazilian center Maria Ferreira (192-1994) did not help to save the game for Aguada. Point guard Aldana Gayoso (168-2000) added 15 points and 5 assists for the guests. Four Aguada players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
