Sienra comes back to Yale, ex Instituto

Yale Montevideo (Liga Femenina) added to their roster 22-year old Argentinian point guard Julieta Sienra (161cm-2003). It is actually her comeback to Montevideo as she has played here before. She moved there from Instituto in Argentinian LaLiga Femenina where she started the season, but it seems she will not stay with that team after all. In 15 LaLiga Femenina games just recently she recorded 14.4ppg, 3.1rpg, 3.7apg and 1.7spg. She helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. Sienra also played 8 games in LaLiga Femenina for the same team last season where just recently she averaged 12.8ppg, 4.5rpg, 3.1apg and 1.4spg. She contributed to her team ending the regular season as at the second position in the league.
Sienra has played previously also in Argentina (Union Florida and Quimsa) and Argentina.
Among many awards she played in the final of Uruguayan Liga Femenina in 2024. She was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Uruguayan Liga Femenina Honorable Mention in 2024.
