Miculka number one in Uruguay Liga Femenina for round 3

Argentinian Forward Carla Miculka (174-F-1993) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Malvin Montevideo, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 17 points and 18 rebounds, while her team beat Aguada (#4, 1-1) 71-57. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Malvin is placed at 3rd position in Uruguayan Liga Femenina. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Malvin won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Miculka had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at Malvin and it was her first game, where she immediately became new team's leader. Carla Miculka has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (5th best: 17.0ppg) and averages impressive 4.0bpg and 55.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another Malvin's star - young Selena Medrick (177-C-2002). Medrick had a very good evening with a double-double of 13 points and 17 rebounds. Third on the list of top players last round was Argentinian guard Rocio Bereilh (165-G-2001) of 25 de Agosto Montevideo (#5). Bereilh scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Despite Bereilh's great performance the 25 de Agosto lost 48-55 to D.Sporting (#2, 2-0). But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing 25 de Agosto needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 1 victories and 1 lost games. Bereilh has a great season in Uruguay. After only 2 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 27.0ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 12.0rpg (6th best).
