Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most surprising game was the first loss of Atenas (5-1) in Montevideo on Thursday night. Visitors were edged by sixth ranked Verdirrojo (4-1) 83-80. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Atenas. Verdirrojo made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Forward Martin Aguilera (195-1987) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Federico Haller (200-1988) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Rogelio De Leon (205-1989) with 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Verdirrojo have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Stockolmo. Atenas at the other side still keep top position with one game lost. They share it with Lagomar.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Lagomar (#2) and Yale (#7). Yale was defeated at home 75-83 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Forward Santiago Moglia (196-1989) notched 23 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and Victor Andrade supported him with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Lagomar's coach Esteban Yaquinta allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 24 points and 16 rebounds by Cuban center Arle Zaporta did not help to save the game for Yale. Lagomar (5-1) used an opportunity after Atenas lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Yale at the other side keeps the seventh place with three games lost. They share the position with Marne.
Olimpia has finally registered their first victory this season after four consecutive losses. The win is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Colon (2-4) 90-81 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was Anthony Hilliard who scored 26 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Olimpia's coach Federico Camina used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Santiago Tucuna who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Olimpia (1-4) left bottom position moving up to tenth place, which they share with Montevideo. Loser Colon dropped to the ninth position with four games lost.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 6: Tabare lost to Marne on the opponent's court 71-72. Larranaga managed to outperform Capitol in a home game 73-65. L.Borges rolled over Montevideo on the road 91-69.

Marne - Tabare 72-71
