Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

Second defeat of league's leader Malvin (8-2) against D.Sporting (9-1) 82-60 was the most important game of the last round. D.Sporting forced 21 Malvin turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for Argentinian Camila Suarez (178-2000) who led her team to a victory with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Julieta Laubert (-2008) contributed with 17 points for the winners. D.Sporting's coach Fabian Boscardin felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Argentinian forward Carla Miculka (174-1993) answered with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for Malvin.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: 25 de Agosto (#6) and Urunday (#7). Urunday was defeated at home 53-60 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It was a great evening for Argentinian swingman Rocio Sagardoy (176-2000) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds. Rocio Bereilh helped adding 9 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. 25 de Agosto's coach Brian Neira allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Argentinian guard Melina Marcial (168-1998) with 21 points and 4 assists.
An interesting game for Yale (8-2) which played road game in Aguada against Aguada (5-6). Yale had an easy win 73-56. It was an exceptional evening for Agustina Bazan who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. Agustina Garcia came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for Aguada in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.

In the last game of round 3 Juventud smashed Cordon on the road 71-36.

An interesting game for Yale (8-2) which played road game in Aguada against Aguada (5-6). Yale had an easy win 73-56. Yale made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 Aguada turnovers. Yale looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Argentinian Agustina Bazan (174-2003) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. Argentinian point guard Julieta Sienra (161-2003) accounted for 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Argentinian swingman Agustina Garcia (173-1996) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and Argentinian center Ornela Bacchini (188-1989, college: OLLU, agency: BIG) added 6 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively for Aguada in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.

No shocking result in a game when Juventud (3-7) crushed Cordon (0-10) in Montevideo 71-36 on Friday. Juventud held Cordon to an opponent 16.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 45.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Juventud forced 31 Cordon turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Victoria Cantero (173-2002) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Catalina Pereira (176-2004, agency: BIG) accounted for 14 points, 7 assists and 5 steals for the winning side. Fernanda Geraldi (-1996) came up with 8 points and 5 rebounds and guard Camila Fernandez (170-2003) added 6 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Cordon in the defeat. Cordon's coach Matias Bueno gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win.
