Defensor Sporting Club Montevideo (LUB) re-signed 23-year-old 203cm power forward Mateo Bianchi for the new season. He played there last season, averaging 7.0ppg and 5.0rpg in 33 LUB games. Bianchi helped them reach the semifinals. The previous (2024) summer, he played for another Uruguayan team, Capitol Montevideo (Metropolitan).
Bianchi has played for two other teams previously: Welcome and Union Atletica Montevideo.
