The Regular Season in Liga Femenina just started. Host teams show no mercy winning all games. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Cordon in Montevideo on Wednesday night. Visitors were rolled over by Lagomar 93-56. Lagomar shot 23 for 33 from the free-throw line, while Cordon only scored three points from the stripe. Lagomar forced 36 Cordon turnovers. Point guard Catalina Tano (174-2003) fired 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. point guard Julieta Oyarzabal (165-2005) chipped in 17 points. Argentinian center Martina Schunk (181-2005) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: D.Sporting and Yale. D.Sporting won against visiting Yale 57-45. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Agustina Oyarzabal (175-2007) who helped to win the game recording 15 points. Julieta Laubert contributed with 5 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. D.Sporting's coach Fabian Boscardin used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Martina Marino (170-2005) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for Yale.
An exciting game was played in Montevideo. Malvin faced Aguada. Host Malvin defeated guests from Aguada 77-63. Carolina Fernandez stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. At the losing side Carina Laborde responded with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.

In the last game of round 1 winless Tabare lost to undefeated Urunday in Montevideo 53-82.
The best stats of 1st round was 12 points and 9 rebounds by Emilia Borges of Urunday.
