Zuvich's double-double lands him (Second Stage) Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

30-year old ARG-URUn power forward Agustin Zuvich (201-F/C-1995) put on an amazing game in the last round for Atletico Aguada Montevideo and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12 (Second Stage).
He had a double-double of 24 points and 17 rebounds, while his team beat Malvin (#4, 18-14) 94-84. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Aguada maintains the 3rd position in Uruguayan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. Aguada will need more victories to improve their 21-11 record. In the team's last game Zuvich had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Agustin Zuvich averages this season 8.6ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Jalen Canty (203-F-1995, agency: Haylett Sports) of Hebraica Macabi Montevideo. He is American forward in his first season at Hebraica. Third place about best performers goes to guard Santiago Vescovi (191-G-2001) of league's leader Club Atletico Penarol Montevideo. Vescovi showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Penarol, leading his team to a 74-62 win against the lower-ranked Hebraica (#5, 16-16). Penarol confirms their top position in the standings. Vescovi has a great season in Uruguay. After 30 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.5apg (5th best).
