Gregorio's 26 points and 6 rebounds give her Player of the Week award

24-year old guard Joaquina Gregorio (168-G-2001, agency: BIG) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Atletico Aguada and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
She had the game-high 26 points adding six rebounds and five assists for Aguada in her team's victory, helping them to beat Cordon (#8, 1-6) 82-71. Aguada maintains the 3rd position in Uruguayan Liga Femenina. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Aguada will need more victories to improve their 6-2 record. In the team's last game Gregorio had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. She just recently signed at Aguada, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Joaquina Gregorio averages this season 8.9ppg.

But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. 25 de Agosto can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league.
