There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in SLB. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Llaneros at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by Guaiqueries 72-62. 25 personal fouls committed by Llaneros helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International forward Anthony Perez (206-93, college: Ole Miss) scored 20 points to lead the charge for the winners and Gendric Correa (190-95) chipped in 11 points and 4 assists during the contest. Gregory Curvelo (195-90) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guaiqueries will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Llaneros will play against Brillantes and are hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
Diablos beat at home Brillantes by 14 points 83-69, which is the biggest margin this round. Point guard Osman Alvarez (174-93) notched 8 points, 7 rebounds, 13 assists and 6 steals to lead the effort and Leinfer Montes supported him with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Even 14 points and 8 rebounds by swingman Raymond Rada (194-97) did not help to save the game for Brillantes. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Diablos will play against Cangrejeros in Maturin in the next round. Brillantes will play against Llaneros to get more than just one victory in their record.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Caracas: Spartans and Broncos. Spartans won against visiting Broncos 65-56. The best player for the winners was Nelson Palacios who scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Garly Sojo produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Spartans will meet Supersonicos in the next round where they are favorite. Broncos will play against Centauros and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 2: Cangrejeros lost to undefeated Bucaneros on the opponent's court 62-67. Winless Condores unfortunately lost to Gladiadores in a home game 91-95. Supersonicos lost to undefeated Gigantes on the road 58-69.
