Pastora de Lara inks Ivaney Marquez

Pastora de Lara (LINABAFE) agreed terms with experienced 38-year old Venezuelan ex-international forward Ivaney Marquez (181cm-83, college: Grayson County). She played last summer at Inder in Colombian Liga Superior. She helped them to make it to the final.
She also represented Venezuela at the South American Championships in Tunja (Colombia) three years ago. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 12.2ppg, 4.2rpg, Assists-2 (5.2apg), 1.2spg, FGP: 58.8%, 3PT: 32.1%, FT: 73.7%.
Marquez is quite experienced player. She has played also professionally in Argentina (Obras and Quimsa), Paraguay (Olimpia), Uruguay (Malvin), Peru (Real Club), Venezuela (Bucaneras and Cangrejas) and Ecuador (Uruguay and Leones).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Marquez was voted Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Apertura 1st Team back in 2018.
Marquez attended Grayson County College until 2011 and it will be her eleventh season as a professional player.
