Pastora de Lara signs Waleska Perez

Pastora de Lara (LINABAFE) signed 27-year old Venezuelan ex-international guard Waleska Perez (180cm-94, college: Weatherford JC). She played last summer at Motilonas in Colombian Liga Superior.
Perez was also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. She played for Venezuelan Senior National Team between 2010 and 2018 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2009.
Perez also represented Venezuela at the South American Championships in Tunja (Colombia) three years ago. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 5.6ppg, 3.8rpg, Assists-3 (5.0apg), 1.6spg, FGP: 13.3%, 3PT: 31.8%, FT: 75.0%.
Perez is quite experienced player. She has played in four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Perez has played previously professionally in Argentina (Obras), Brazil (Blumenau), Spain (Arxil Pontevedra) and Venezuela (Anzoategui, Guaras and Cangrejas).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Perez's team made it to the Brazilian LBF Semifinals in 2018. She was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian LBF Honorable Mention back in 2018.
She attended Weatherford College until 2014 and it will be her eighth season as a professional player.
