Anzoategui adds Corrales to their roster

Yosimar Corrales

Deportivo Anzoategui de Puerto La Cruz (Superliga) added to their roster 31-year old Venezuelan international power forward Yosimar Corrales (184cm). Corrales played last summer at Escaramuzas in Mexican LMBPF, but left the team in May. In 13 games she recorded 4.6ppg and 3.6rpg.
She has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. Corrales has regularly played for Venezuelan senior team since 2008 and previously for U18 National Team between 2006 and 2008.
She also represented Venezuela at the South American Championships in Tunja (Colombia) three years ago. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 10.4ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.2apg, FGP: 44.2%, FT: 60.0%.
Corrales is quite experienced player. She has played also professionally in Argentina (Obras and Quimsa), Peru (Real Club), Venezuela (Bucaneras, Cangrejas and Pastoras de Lara), Ecuador (Uruguay and Leones) and El Salvador (FAS).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she won Peruvian Liga de Lima Clausura championship title in 2019. Corrales was voted to Latinbasket.com All-El Salvador Liga Mayor Apertura Honorable Mention in 2019.
