Guaiqueries add Sutton to their roster, ex CPN

Guaiqueries de Margarita (SPB) added to their roster experienced 35-year old American swingman Dominique Sutton (198cm-98kg-1986, college: NCCU). Sutton played last summer at Pueblo Nuevo in Santiago League in Dominican Republic. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. The last season he played at Phoenix in Filipino PBA where in four games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.3ppg, 9.8rpg, 2.0apg and 2.0spg.
In 2012 he was drafted by Tulsa 66ers (D-League) in first round (6th overall).
The former North Carolina Central University standout is in his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Sutton has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2015.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in fourteen different countries. Sutton has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Ahli), China (Anhui Wenyi), France (Sluc Nancy and Chalon/Saor), Germany (ratiopharm Ulm), Greece (AE Kallitheas), Italy (Reggio Emilia, Brindisi and Trento), Lithuania (Rytas), Mexico (Libertadores), Saudi Arabia (Al Hilal), Spain (Burgos), Philippines (North Port and Air21 Express), NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors and OKC Blue), Dominican Republic (Titanes) and The Basketball Tournament (Armored Athlete).
He is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Guaiqueries.
