George Williams (ex Reales) signs at Marinos

Marinos de Anzoategui (SPB) landed 32-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) 198cm guard George Williams (college: WBU). Williams played last summer at Reales in LNB league in Dominican Republic. In 5 games he averaged 12.0ppg, 2.4rpg and 1.6apg. The last season he played at Arabi (D2) in Kuwaiti league.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in twelve different countries playing on four different continents. Williams is familiar with Asian, Latin American, African and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Ferro), Belize (Tigersharks), Canada (Power and Highlanders), Chile (Puerto Varas), Iraq (Al Kahraba and Zakho), Mexico (Pioneros Los Mochis and Libertadores), Oman (Al Bashaer), United Kingdom, Bolivia (La Salle and Amistad), Egypt (Al Geish), UBA (Houston Havok) and PBL (Lynchburg T.).
Williams attended previously one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on he way to pro basketball.
He graduated from Wayland Baptist University in 2012 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
