Brillantes ink Hameed Ali, ex Culiacan

Brillantes de Maracaibo (SPB) signed 28-year old American guard Hameed Ali (188cm-82kg-1993, college: TAMUCC). Ali played last summer at Caballeros de Culiacan in Mexican CIBACOPA. In 8 LBE games he had very impressive stats: 17.6ppg, 3.6rpg, 4.3apg and 1.1spg. He helped them to make it to the Mexican LBE final. Ali also played for DUC Dakar (D1) in Senegalese league.
He is quite experienced player. Ali has played in six different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally also in Georgia (Olimpi), Puerto Rico (Brujos), Qatar (Al Sadd), United Kingdom (Flyers) and United Arab Emirates (Al Wahda).
Ali graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in 2016 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player.
