Gladiadores add Cleanthony Early to their roster, ex Cape Town T.

Gladiadores de Anzoategui (SPB) added to their roster 31-year old American forward Cleanthony Early (203cm-99kg-1991, college: Wichita State). Early played last season at Cape Town Tigers in South African D2 league. In only one Basketball Africa League game he recorded 15 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. He also played for New Taipei CTBC DEA in Taiwanese T1 League where in 12 games he had very impressive stats: 27.4ppg, 8.9rpg and 4.8apg. Early was also named League Player of the Week.
In 2014 he was drafted by New York Knicks (NBA) in second round (34th overall). He graduated from Wichita State and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
Early is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in nine different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. Early has played previously professionally in Dominican Republic (Parque Hostos and Enriquillo), France (Olympique Antibes), Greece (AEK Athens), Hungary (Atomeromu), Japan (Tokyo Hachioji Trains), Saudi Arabia (Al Ahly, Al Nasr and Ohod), NBA (NY Knicks), NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors, Rio Grande Valley Vipers and Westchester Knicks) and The Basketball Tournament (Aftershocks).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of Gulf Club Championship in 2021. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com Japanese B League D2 All-Imports Team back in 2019.
