Brillantes ink Antonio Pena, ex Reales

Brillantes de Maracaibo (SPB) agreed terms with experienced 36-year old American (has also Dominican passport) forward Antonio Pena (204cm-1986, college: Villanova). Pena played this summer at Reales in LNB league in Dominican Republic. In 19 games just recently he had 12.4ppg, 6.0rpg and 1.3apg. 2022-22 was a great season as he was named to Dominican Republic LNB All-Star Game. He also played for Dorados in Mexican LBE where in 22 games he recorded 11.4ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.9apg and 1.3spg. Pena helped them to win the league title. He also spent pre-season at Dorados (CIBACOPA) in Mexican league.
Pena is quite experienced player. He has played in eight different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Pena has played previously professionally also in Argentina (Ferro), Colombia (Titanes), Germany, Puerto Rico (Brujos), Spain (Burgos), Venezuela (Marinos) and Mexico (Lenadores, Santos, Soles and Mantarrayas) and Dominican Republic (Enriquillo, Pueblo Nuevo and Don Bosco).
He graduated from Villanova University in 2011 and it will be his 13th (!!!) season as a professional player.
