Strangely Trotamundos outrebounded Centauros 48-32 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Spanish-Dominican power forward Jhonatan Araujo (206-1996) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds. Naturalized Dominican Kelvin Pena (193-1980, college: Southeastern) contributed with 12 points for the winners. Centauros' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. International center Nestor Colmenares (200-1987, college: Campbellsville, agency: Pro Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized American Donta Smith (201-1983, college: SE Illinois JC) added 9 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Trotamundos.

Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
