SPB 2023 - Kris Jenkins is a newcomer at Centauros

Centauros-de-Portuguesa (SPB) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American forward Kris Jenkins (198cm-116kg-1993, college: Villanova) for the upcoming SPB 2023 season. Jenkins just played at Team San Antonio in Eurobasket Summer League in Las Vegas2, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. He missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
In 2017 he was drafted by Sioux Falls Skyforce (G-League) in first round (14th overall).
The former Villanova University standout is in his sixth season in pro basketball.
Jenkins is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Germany (Eisbaeren Bremerhaven), Turkey (Yesilgiresun), NBA (San Antonio Spurs) and TBL (Yakima SK). Jenkins' team won Big East Tournament in 2015 and 2017.
Jenkins was voted to All-Big East Honorable Mention back in 2017.
