SPB 2023 - Panteras sign Staphon Blair

Panteras-de-Miranda (SPB) signed 29-year old American (has also Jamaican passport) forward Staphon Blair (206cm-118kg-1993, college: UCF, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance). Blair just played at Al Sulaibikhat in Kuwaiti D2 league. He also played for Ahly Benghazi (D1) in Libyan league.
Blair is quite experienced player. He has played in eleven different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). Blair has played previously professionally in Belgium (Okapi Aalst), Bosnia (KK Bosna Meridianbet Sarajevo), France (Etoile Angers), Japan (Fukushima), Kosovo (Trepca), Montenegro (Ibar), Philippines (Blackwater Elite), Portugal (Illiabum and Illiabum Clube B team), Slovenia (Sencur Gorenjska Kranj), Venezuela (Toros and Diablos) and TBL (Tampa Bay T.).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the Portuguese final in 2019. He was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Kuwait D2 Defensive Player of the Year in 2022.
Blair graduated from University of Central Florida in 2016 and it is his seventh season as a professional player. He played also for Orlando Whalers for one year.
