Aaron Fuller gets MVP of the Week award for Venezuelan SPB (by Hoops Agents)- April 4, 2023
The 33-year old forward had a double-double of 22 points and fifteen rebounds, while his team beat Cangrejeros (#5, 1-6) 84-71. Gigantes maintains the 3rd position in their group in Venezuelan SPB. Gigantes is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-4 record. Fuller just recently signed at Gigantes, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of Southern California graduate has very impressive stats this year. Fuller is in league's top in points (3rd best: 19.4ppg) and averages solid 56.0% FGP. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American power forward Erik McCree (202-PF-1993, agency: Pensack Sports) of league's best team Broncos. McCree impressed basketball fans with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Of course he led Broncos to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Llaneros (#4, 1-6) 85-64. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Western Conference South. Broncos consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. His team has currently 5-2 record. McCree is one of the most experienced players at Broncos and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. The third best performed player last round was international guard Heissler Guillent (186-PG-1986) of second-ranked Guaros. Guillent showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, five rebounds and seven assists in the last round. He was a key player of Guaros, leading his team to a 80-65 easy win against #4 ranked Centauros. Guaros needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Western Conference West. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 2 lost games. Guillent has a great season in Venezuela. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.7apg (4th best). Other top performing players last week: 4.
