SPB 2023 - Juan Guerrero is back at Cocodrilos, ex Plaza

Cocodrilos de Caracas (SPB) signed 29-year old Dominican power forward Juan Guerrero (203cm-120kg-1993). It is actually his comeback to Caracas as he has played here before. Guerrero moved there from Plaza in Santiago League in Dominican Republic where he started the season.
He represented Dominican Republic at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla (Colombia) five years ago. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 5 games: 8.6ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.2spg, FGP: 51.4%, 3PT: 25.0%, FT: 66.7%.
Guerrero is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Chile (Concepcion), Mexico (Correcaminos), Uruguay (Cordon and Penarol), Venezuela (Toros), Dominican Republic (Gregorio Urbano Gilbert, Sameji, Parque Hostos, La Mattica and San Sebastian) and Colombia (Storm and Hurricanes). Guerrero won Dominican Republic Santiago League championship title in 2021 and 2022.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic LNB Player of the Year and Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic LNB Domestic player of the Year in 2021.
He could be described: It has a good touch of shot, and good subsequent movements. A very coordinated forward, able to play in positions 4 and 3 can also defend the players of the position 5, strong player and very good shooter with a good range.
