SPB 2023 - Guaros sign Marvelle Harris, ex Fukuoka R.

Guaros de Lara (SPB) signed 29-year old American point guard Marvelle Harris (196cm-95kg-1993, college: Fresno State, agency: Slash Sports). Harris moved there from Fukuoka Rizing in Japanese B2 League. In 46 games he had very impressive stats: 20.5ppg, 4.1rpg, 3.4apg and 1.9spg last season. Good year as he was named League Player of the Week. The last summer he played at Team Challenge ALS in U.S. semi-pro league TBT where in two games he recorded also remarkable stats: 20.0ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.0apg and 1.5spg.
He represented USA at the CBI Championship Finalist nine years ago.
Harris is quite experienced player. He has played in seven different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and of course North America). Harris has played previously professionally also in Australia (Illawarra Hawks), Belgium (Limburg United), Denmark (Bakken), Lebanon (Beirut Club, Moutahed and Louaize), Egypt (Al Ittihad) and United Arab Emirates (Al Sharjah). He was voted to MWC All-Defensive Team back in 2015 and 2016.
Harris graduated from Fresno State in 2016 and it is his seventh season as a professional player.
