Polish-American AJ Slaughter (191-1987, college: WKU) fired 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. International forward Miguel Ruiz (197-1990, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Argentinian guard Luciano Gonzalez (194-1990) produced 18 points and American point guard Stefan Moody (179-1993, college: Ole Miss) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Trotamundos' coach Guillermo Narvarte rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Gladiadores - Piratas 102-90
Gladiadores players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Piratas' players. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard Gregory Vargas (181-1986, agency: Pro Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 5 rebounds and 14 assists. Senegalese-American center Malik Dime (206-1992, college: Washington) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Gladiadores players scored in double figures. American forward Emmitt Williams (198-1998, college: LSU) answered with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and Dominican guard Juan Suero (196-1993) added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Piratas. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
