Guaros made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Guaros especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Trotamundos' players. 26 personal fouls committed by Trotamundos helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international point guard Heissler Guillent (186-1986) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 assists (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners. Spanish-Colombian power forward Juan Tello-Palacios (206-1985) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Four Guaros players scored in double figures. American point guard Stefan Moody (179-1993, college: Ole Miss) produced 19 points and 5 assists and the former international swingman Jhornan Zamora (196-1989) added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Trotamundos' coach Guillermo Narvarte rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
